Who we are
A small OMC, run by its own neighbours
Athlone Court Management CLG (The Moorings) is a small owners' management company: 22 houses and 12 apartments in Athlone, run by volunteer directors who care about the wellbeing of our own community. We used to manage service charges, budgets, and member communication on spreadsheets and scattered email. Meitheal is what replaced that, built voluntarily by one of our own directors, on a non-commercial basis. It is not a company selling software: it has no customers, no pricing, and no sales process, and it is not marketed to anyone outside our development. Meitheal Technology simply holds the code on the OMC's behalf, under the same volunteer board that runs the development itself.

Every module below is in real, day-to-day use at our own development, run by the people who use it.
Service charges
AGM and EGM charges, professional payment-request PDFs, and a full payments-received ledger, reconciled against what's actually in the bank.
Budgets, published
Per-unit cost breakdowns calculated automatically, published straight to the owner portal, no more chasing a PDF nobody can find.
Bank reconciliation
The full current and savings ledger, matched against the budget, with monthly statement archives and CSV, PDF, and Excel export.
Owner and tenant portal
Residents see their own charges, the published budget, and every newsletter, without emailing the board to ask.
Governance and compliance
AGM and EGM minutes, insurance, incident and GDPR breach registers, all in one searchable record, not a shared drive full of PDFs.
Vendors and contractors
Vendors submit their own expense receipts through a scoped sign-in, and SEPA-ready payment batches go straight to the bank.
How it came about
Built for one community, kept in its own hands
Built by a director
Meitheal was written on a voluntary basis by a director of the OMC, to replace spreadsheets and scattered email, at no cost to members.
Run by the board, not a vendor
The same volunteer directors who use it govern it. There is no outside company deciding what it does or charging for it.
No commercial intent
It is not sold, licensed for a fee, or marketed to other developments. It exists to serve The Moorings and generates no revenue.
